The Alan HP450 is a robust, commercial grade, waterproof PMR446 radio which can also be upgraded to operate on licensed radio channels. This gives users the opportunity to start with a licence-free unit and upgrade at a very small additional cost to licensed channels (with improved privacy and increased range) when required.
It is the most affordable business grade radio that offers full IP67 waterproofing - providing proof against submersion in water to 1m for 30 minutes.
As a radio, the unit offers loud, clear audio and a very long operating life between charges, thanks to the supplied high capacity battery pack.
Each unit is supplied in a convenient carry case, housing the charger and accessories. This keeps everything together and makes it ideal for anyone using their radios on an occassional basis.
